arp-interval

This command sets the time interval between ARP attempts.

Syntax

arp-interval milliseconds

Parameters

milliseconds: Sets the time interval in milliseconds between ARP attempts. Enter a value in the range 500 - 5000. The default value is 500.

Guidelines

The arp-interval command sets the time interval between ARP attempts. The appliance waits the defined time before it tries a failed ARP request again.

Example

Set the interval to 100 milliseconds.

# arp-interval 100
