priority

This command sets the service-level priority for the log target.

Syntax

priority { low | normal | high }

Parameters

low
Sets the service to receive below normal priority for scheduling and resource allocation.
normal
Sets the service to receive normal priority for scheduling and resource allocation. This setting is the default value.
high
Sets the service to receive above normal priority for scheduling and resource allocation.

Guidelines

The priority command sets the priority for log target event-flushing. When resources are in high demand, setting the priority to high can increase processing capacity of the log target but might have a negative effect on the throughput of the appliance.
