Request management services

Whatever method you use to request marketing services, the project manager who creates the project or event in Marketing Operations OnDemand needs a set of required information.

Marketing Operations OnDemand provides the Job Queue feature for integrated request management services. By using Job Queue forms, you can create web page forms that anyone can access, even users who do not have a login to Marketing Operations OnDemand. You can request exactly the information that is required to create a project.

After someone completes and submits a form, Marketing Operations OnDemand emails the information to the job queue administrators who you specify.

The job queue administrators can then review the information and, if everything is correct, create projects or events that are based on the submitted information.

Usage - legal and compliance statement

The specific purpose of the form function is as a mechanism to capture work and information that flows in your Marketing Operations OnDemand account. Use of this tool is governed by your License Agreement. Use of forms on open, public, marketing, or other unrestricted or targeted websites is strictly prohibited. Use of the forms for gathering information from consumers or for consumer-related purposes, is strictly prohibited.

IBM® reserves the right to terminate your forms or the form function at its sole discretion if your forms become exposed to general Internet users. Also, if you use the forms inappropriately, or in such a way as to degrade Marketing Operations OnDemand services to one or more clients.

The Job Queue feature
Use the Job Queue feature to design web forms that people can use to request marketing services without logging in to your system.
Job Queue form types
There are three types of Job Queue forms: project forms, event forms, and email only forms.
User roles in the Job Queue feature
There are three types of users in the Job Queue feature: Marketing Operations OnDemand system administrators, job queue administrators, and requesters.
The Job Queue process
The Job Queue process requires the cooperation of the different user roles: system administrator, job queue administrator, and requester.
Designating a job queue administrator
System administrators designate job queue administrators in the user profiles. Job queue administrators review completed forms in their job queues to either reject or fulfill the requests.
Providing access to Job Queue forms
People who use the Job Queue forms to request services might not have logins to Marketing Operations OnDemand. As the system administrator, you need to provide a way for all users to access the forms.
Adding a form group
You can organize your Job Queue forms into form groups to simplify administration. For example, assign one job queue administrator to each form group so they see only those Job Queue form submissions that they need to process.
Designing Job Queue forms
After you create form groups, you add the forms to the form groups. Job Queue forms force the requesters to follow your business processes. Design a form that asks for specific information that fits your processes.
Modifying form groups
You can change the title, description, and security settings of a form group. You can delete the form group and delete forms from the group.
Moving a form to another form group
You can move forms from one group to another. You might move forms to assign them to a different job queue administrator.
Options on the Edit Field tab
After you add input fields to your Job Queue form, you need to define the fields. When you click on a field, the Edit Field tab displays.
Fields on the Form Options tab
When you create a Job Queue form, you must define the form by completing the fields on the Form Options tab.
