If your approval process requires a single step, you can use a simple, single-step
approval.
About this task
To create a single-step approval, complete the following steps.
Procedure
- In the Review Area, click New
Approval.
Note: When you select Resolve open items, you archive all
notes and scribbles related to the version.
- On the Approval page, enter a title.
- Optional: Select Lock to lock the version.
Locking the version prevents reviewers from adding annotations within the
version of the creative item in the Review Area. Leave
the version unlocked if you want reviewers to enter comments using the
Markup tool.
- Enter a description.
- Select a due date.
- Select the required reviewers.
- Optional: Select Notification to notify reviewers of the
new approval.
- Optional: Select the option to automatically close the approval when all
reviewers have approved.
If you select this option and all reviewers approve, the approval closes
automatically. If a reviewer responds with Approve with changes or Not
approved, the approval does not automatically close.
- Click Create.
