Track changes widget
Track changes widget can be used in two scenarios. Under ITEMS view, as a user, you can use Track changes widget to review what changes you made to an item record. Under WORKFLOW item, as a workflow reviewer, you can use Track widget to review all changes that are made on an edited item.
Track changes widget of ITEMS view
When you open an item from form item view, with the Track changes widget, you can see the changes that you made to the item. The widget counts the number of fields that were changed by you and displays zero if no changes.
You can click the widget to further view the changes. The open dialog has two tabs. The User changes tab lists all the fields that you changed. The source column lists the original base value of the item. The System changes tab displays system-generated changes that are consequence changes of the fields you changed. On the System changes tab, you can select the Workflow decision fields checkbox to view fields that have been identified as decision fields and may have changed, causing the item to drop out of workflow during a refresh.
The Track changes widget list is for changes review of the current edited item record. After the record is saved to the database or is reverted, the changes can’t be viewed anymore.
Track changes widget of WORKFLOW view
Under workflow view, when you open an item, with the Track widget, you can see all user and system-generated changes that are made to the item and the comparing original values.
