Issue history widget
The Issues history widget presents users with an array of historical issue data for the item they are viewing.
Advanced filters
Data can be filtered by choosing the filter icon and selecting a Date/time range and Scheduled flag. You can select from the drop-down list to view all issues, those issues that were scheduled (Yes), those which were unscheduled (No), those which were ignored (Ignore) and those issues, which were transfers (Transfer).
By selecting one of these Schedules, you can view only those issues, which apply to that Schedule Flag.
You can filter the data further by specifying a date range. Toward the top of the widget, you see fields for the beginning (From) and end (To) dates for the period, which you would like to view. Dates can be entered manually or by clicking the calendar icon to the right of the field, navigating to and selecting the wanted dates.
To the right of the date fields, in parentheses, you see how many issue records apply with these criteria (date range and schedule).
It is possible to view the Issues history in one of two ways grid view or graph view.
You can switch between the two views by toggling the graph view () and grid view(
) icons.
Grid View
The grid view shows the records for each issue that is made within the selected date range and for the chosen schedule designation.
While issue records do contain a large selection of data points, only those columns stipulated as shown that by the user are visible.
Graph View
The graph view provides two separate modes, and each mode presents two sets of graphs. The two modes are Size and Demand. You can toggle between both by selecting either mode near the upper left corner of the widget. In the Size mode, the two graphs that are presented are History and Issue Size Distribution.
The Size History graph shows how many issues were made at specific dates within the specified date range, and whether it was a transfer, which is scheduled or otherwise. You can hover over each node on the graph for more specific data.
The Issue size distribution graph shows the frequency of any particular issue size among the total issues for the specified time frame, in the item you are viewing them, including returns.
In the Demand mode, the two graphs that are presented are the Demand History and the Time between demand graphs.
The Demand History graph shows the extent of gaps in time between demands for the specified item. Points high on the graph show instances where that demand has not been followed up by a proceeding demand for the item for some time.
The Time between demand graph groups these demand instances into categories, illustrating the ranges of time that most demands are displaced by. Like the other graphs and databases in this widget, the data that is displayed applies to the category of demand and time ranges specified.
