Changing the layout of the page view

Use the Edit form view function to change the page layout of the Item Form View. You can find the Edit form view function by clicking the settings icon in the upper right corner of the page.

When you are in editing mode, you can move, resize, as well as add or remove widgets from the current layout.

After you modify and save the default Item Form View, you will no longer see any future updates to the default view.

Select Save form view from the gear icon drop-down menu to save the currently displayed page layout as the default layout.

Editing the page layout while viewing an item from the ITEMS module changes the layout for all inventory items.

When you edit the Item Form View layout while viewing an item in a WORK QUEUES, only the layout for that particular Work queue will be changed. Each Work queue can have its own page layout. Your system administrator configures the layout of work queues for you.

If there are no custom layouts that are associated with a work queue, the default layout that is used in the ITEMS module will be displayed.
