Release update 2022.4

New features

Release update 2022.4 introduces the following new features:

Item change request enhancements

  • Item change requests cannot be processed by a user that has the same item under review, stale, or conflict states.
  • Cancel has changed to close.
  • The originator of a returned item change request can cancel requests that are no longer valid.
  • Complete is made available to item change requests that have been picked up by an Inventory controller.
  • Saving of attachments no longer requires manual handling as it is done directly during processing.
  • The originator name is added to both the list of items change request and the request detail.

Workflow

  • No items fall out of workflow if the marked decision remains unaltered in the refresh.
  • Items will continue in workflow, provided rules that are met before and after the refresh remains unchanged and the decision fields remain unaltered.
  • The Track changes widget contains a new column where you can view workflow draft items.
  • When a workflow is canceled and the items not yet stale, the state of the item is changed to approved.

References

  • A new References module is available within inventory.
  • New permissions are needed to access the References module.
  • Each table within the references module requires a new permission to be added. Permissions are assigned by default to the administrator.
  • The references module contains four tables - Supplier, Commodity, Group class, and UNSPC.
  • A filter function is present so you can easily filter trough records.
  • Inline edits are enabled through a grid edit function.
  • The grid contains a bulk edit function to allow for bulk editing of records.

Further changes

  • A "What's new" window will appear at first login after a new release that is accessible in the user menu for future reference.
  • In-app guided tutorials are available and are accessible in the user menu for future reference.
  • MIO is changed to IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization.
