New Features
Release update 2022.2 introduces the following new features.
Inventory application
Item Change Request
Note: The Item change request feature is not enabled by default, you need to consult IBM to enable it.
- Change request button is now available on the items grid
- Change request module that allows the users to enter the request description, values for the default columns and add attachments is available. Users can add and remove the columns similar to the Items grid.
- A new module "Change requests" along with the unclaimed requests is available.
- The Change requests grid displays these columns: request ID, request status, the business key of the item as well as the requester’s name, the reviewer’s name and the reviewer’s comments (if any). The columns cannot be added or removed.
- The grid has two views: My requests and All requests.
- Filtering available on the Change requests grid.
- An inventory controller is able to claim the requests and process them.
- The "Recent Activity" widget has a new tab - "Change Requests". This tab displays the history of Change Requests for the item.
What If
- A user with read access to an item set but NO write access is able to change values, perform a recalc, download contents of the grid. However, the user will NOT be able to approve the read only items.
Last Exported Date widget
- Widget available to be added anywhere on the form view and it displays the last exported date field value.
- When the widget is selected by the user, the Last Exported Date widget is displayed listing only the export files that contain the current item. Filtering option is available.
- Export file contents can be viewed by clicking export.
Enhancements
Release update 2022.2 introduces the following usability enhancements to the following modules
Work queues
- An option to hide work queues that are completed is added.
Inventory
- The listing of the views and filters is alphabetical.
- Font size of Available Quantity widget changed to match other widgets
- A confirmation to overwrite is added when a filter with an existing name is added
- Workflow filters are changed to display the data based on the grid for performance improvements
- Rebuild usage for destination item when items are merged
- Option to retain notes when an item is reverted provided on the revert dialog.
- Attachments are saved directly on the items
- Performance improvements for bulk edit from file
- Security fixes and improvements
