New Features

Release update 2021.4 introduces the following new features

Administration

Access management

The access to the modules is controlled by the access management feature. Roles can be created with various permissions and assigned to users.

  • The Roles and Permissions are used to assign permissions to user roles.
  • Users are assigned a user role that gives them access to certain functions.
  • The system administrator can create new user roles with their own specific combination of permissions.
  • Users can have one or more roles.
  • Access to the modules is based on the permissions that are assigned.
  • Administration application is available only based on permissions.
  • Auditing added for user profile changes.

Work queue setting

The Work queue setting module allows users to create, edit, delete, copy, and refresh the work queues.

Translations and Text

The module allows customization of MIO to meet each organization’s specific requirements by modifying the short and long text descriptions of the interface elements.

Enhancements

Release update 2021.4 introduces the following enhancements:

Workflow enhancements:

  • Additional logging introduced to make troubleshooting for this feature easier

Analytics enhancements

  • Work queue report
    • SET_STATUS field and filter added to report.
  • Analytics minor changes to the following reports
    • Stock movement report number of months
    • Export details increase maximum number of column labels on worksheet
    • Accepted system recommendations changed aggregation type and included corp currency conversion
    • Decision code added to snapshot review history
    • Downloads for snapshot inventory history

Inventory enhancements

  • Inventory MTBF
    • Changes to calculation from historic data.
    • Minor UI improvements.
  • Purchase order line item added to the condition for average lead time calculations.

Translation

  • Newly added Brazilian Portuguese language

Data Loader and Data refresh

  • Data Extract API performance improvements

Fixes to known problems

Release 2021.4 includes general fixes and quality improvements.
