Use and configure work queues
The Work Queues module provides a list of alerts, or items to review, and displays the outstanding number of records to be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Details about each work queue are listed across each row.
- Priority
- Numerical representation of a work queue's priority level. Higher numbers indicate a higher priority. It is possible for more than one work queue to have the same priority level.
- Title
- Name that is used to identify the work queue and the type of inventory items that it contains.
- Service level difference
- Highlights the service level changes before and after accepting the MIO recommended stock levels in the work queue.
- Inventory value difference
- Highlights the inventory holding changes before and after accepting the MIO recommended stock levels in the work queue.
- Count as at "date"
- Lists the total number of inventory items or records in a work queue after a monthly update or any other data refresh of the total count, which is run by an administrator. The "date" denotes the date of the last monthly update or data refresh.
- Current count
- Displays the current count of inventory items or that are records up for review in the work queue.
Resize work queue columns
You can resize a column by clicking and dragging the right edge of the column to make it bigger or smaller.
Filter work queue records
To choose which records to display and review on the work queues page:
- Select the filter option next to Limit by sets.
- In the Edit sets window, select the work queue sets that you want to include.
- Click Save to update the work queue records that are displayed.
Hide completed work queues
Users can also hide completed work queues, which are work queues in which the current record count is 0. This option reduces the bulk factor from the work queue grid.
Click Hide completed work queues to hide completed work queues from the grid.
To disable this option, click Hide completed work queues again. The grid displays all the work queues.
