Customizing the UI layout and form view

You can customize the user interface (UI) of IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization according to your preferences.

Adjusting the page size
You can limit the number of items that appear on the page view of the current display module by adjusting the page size according to your requirements. You can adjust the page size settings for several windows and widgets.
Comparison Matrix widget
The Comparison Matrix widget is used to compare values for the same item across multiple locations, for all items that have a regional relationship. It can be added on the ITEMS form view.
Customizing the form view with widgets
A widget is an element of the user interface (UI) that displays information about a specific feature in IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization. They include pull down menus, buttons, selection boxes, and toggle buttons. Widgets are used to display specific details about an item, and provide access to more functions.
Saving the grid layout
You can modify how columns are displayed and sorted on the ITEMS grid view and save your preferences for reuse. Saved states are referred to as Views. You can switch from one saved view to another as needed.
Showing and hiding columns
To manage column views, you can use the Show/Hide Columns icon to add or remove items from the current view. You can also organize the order of the columns of the view you are currently using. You can manage column views under the Items, workflow, draft items modules and the Comparison Matrix Widget.
