Accessing the IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization solution portal
After the IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization solution is enabled to align with your processes, and the ERP is configured, your designated IBM project team will provide you with further logon details.
To access and use your IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization solution, log on to the solution portal by using the credentials that were provided directly to you by IBM.
Client prerequisites
Your IBM Services representative provides a detailed list of prerequisites for your deployment.
To use the solution portal, review the prerequisites:
- Use a browser that can connect over HTTPS to maximomro.ibmiot.ibm.com on port 80 and on port 443
- Compatible internet browsers are Microsoft Edge, and Chrome. Internet Explorer version 11+ will only be supported until 1 of June 2021.
- Some sites might need Single Sign On (SSO) configuration on the local network
- Set the screen resolution to 1440 x 900 or higher with the browser’s zoom at 100%
Clear cache
You should only clear the cache when there is an issue that cannot be resolved by the usual means.
For standard settings like field additions, column order and widths, filters that are applied, grid view that is selected, and other settings- these are stored in browser-specific storage independently for each user.
When you clear the cache, the field and column settings of widgets in the form view and columns, filters, and grid settings on the grid view; will also be erased. IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization will return to the original settings.
You can keep your original settings by moving between items, logging out, refreshing your screen, running a monthly periodic update or delta refresh, and turning off your PC will keep the setting changes. However, when you clear the IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization cache, or browser cache, you lose these system settings.
Language
Use this option to change the user language in IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization. This doesn't change your browser language settings or any other language settings on your computer.
