Change request module overview
The Change request module displays item change requests created in the Items grid. The status of an item change request changes based on defined rules during processing.
The Change requests module, has two main views. One view is used to shows requests to their requester. The second view is to show Item controllers (ICs) all requests made.
From the Showing list, select My requests to view the item changes requested by you as user.
From the Showing list, select All requests to view all item change requests in the system.
My requests
The My requests view of the Change requests module, shows the requester all their approved and returned requests. Users can resize and sort the columns of the grid. Users can also add fields to the grid. For example, snapshots of before and after values.
All requests
The All requests view displays all requests in the system. By default, the request records are arranged in descending chronological order, with the most recent request at the start of the list. Users can resize and sort the columns of the grid. Users can also add fields to the grid. For example, snapshots of before and after values.
Change request module fields
- Created
- The requester created a change request.
- Created date
- The date the requester created a change request.
- Request number
- The number of the request
- Status
- Informs the user of where the request is in the change request process.
- Location alias
- The location of the item
- Material number
- The material number that is allocated to the item.
- Requester
- The user that requests the item change.
- Processor
- The inventory controller responsible for processing the item change request.
- Processor notes
- Additional information the processor might provide to the requester.
