Export profiles

IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization makes optimization recommendations that are based on the source inventory data and the modifications that are done by reviewers. You can choose to accept these recommendations, and to export them to the host ERP system. To do this click the down arrow beside Approve, and either select or deselect from the available export profiles. There are various different review formats that are configured during the implementation of IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization, based on client requirements. These formats are referred to as the export profiles in IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization.

Recommendations can be exported as one particular export profile or in a combination of export profiles.

Enabling an export profile

You can choose to activate or deactivate an export profile by toggling them on or off when approving the record under the approve button.

Examples of export profiles

Reorder Levels

IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization recommended stocking levels that are based on usage patterns and forecasting.

Lead Times

IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization calculations of actual average lead times in order to update the host ERP or EAM data source system.

Material Criticality

IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization calculates material criticality and factors in the criticality of other pieces of equipment that it relates to.
