Editing inventory items in bulk
Occasionally you might need to edit and update the inventory items that are stored in IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization. Utilities in the user interface are provided for editing large batches of inventory items.
Note: You cannot update any fields in a stock item record that your system administrator designated
as read-only, or fields that you protected. Read-only fields are disabled in the Grid
Edit view. Any file that is uploaded to Bulk edit from file is logged in the Audit Log.
The entry includes the user, file name, and total record count.
