Sharing reports

You can share any report with other IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization users and also non-registered guest users.

Procedure

  1. Click Run Report on the report that you want to share.
  2. Click Share on the upper left of the report window.
  3. In the Share With field, enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the report with.
    Note: Use a semicolon to separate individual recipients.
  4. Enter a message, and then click Share Report.

Results

To share a report, complete the following steps:

Results: Each recipient receives an email with a unique link to the report.

Links to reports shared with guest users who aren’t registered users of IBM Maximo MIO Inventory Optimization are valid for up to 30 days.

As soon as a guest user views a shared report, they have a further 24 hours to reopen the report.

Otherwise, their guest access tokens expire. The 24 - hour grace period resets every time that the report is viewed.

Guest users can view the report, the highlight, or remove selected data points for further analysis.

Guest users have access to the shared report and are only allowed to use basic report features, namely Export, Reset, and Refresh.

Only registered users can leave the report window and view other reports, and can also Share and Edit reports.
