Revert draft items

If changes have been made to draft items that the user is unsatisfied with, then the user may revert changes to modified or recalculated draft items.

Like normal items, draft items with unsaved changes (Modified) can be reverted to their original (Unmodified) state.

If any of the modified draft items had been saved previously then reverting them brings them back to their most recent saved state.

Reverting Draft Items

Draft item records can be reverted in both the Draft Item Grid or Draft Item Form views. There are several ways that you can revert modified draft items, as follows:

Reverting items in Draft Item Grid View

  1. Select the modified records to be reverted. There are three methods of selecting records:
  • If the user needs to revert all modified or recalculated records then no records should be selected and no filters should be applied.
  • If the user wishes to select one or several modified draft records then they may select these records by tagging them.
    Note: Selecting the checkbox in the column header will select only the records that are on the current page.
  • If the user wishes to revert a specific set of modified draft records then they may apply a filter to specify those records.
  1. Click Revert.
  • This displays the Revert confirmation window.
  • The confirmation window will also indicate how many draft item records will be reverted. 3. Click Yes.
  • The selected draft item records will be reverted and enter an Unmodified state.

Reverting Draft Items in Draft Item Form View

When viewing a modified draft item in Form View:

  1. Click Recalculate.
  • This displays the Revert confirmation window.
  1. Click Yes.
  • The modified draft item records will be reverted and entered in an unmodified state.

Reverting Draft Items by Icon

This method may be used in either the Draft Item Grid View or the Item Form View. However, this method can only be applied to revert a single modified draft item record.

  1. Click either the modified or recalculated icon of the draft item record that is to be reverted. This displays the Revert confirmation window.
  2. Click Yes.

Result: The selected modified draft item record will be reverted and enter an Unmodified state.
