Modifying, recalculating and saving draft items draft items

You can make and save changes to draft items that you have created from within IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization. Saving changes for draft items is similar to the “commit” of normal items.

When users make changes to draft items the item's state changes to Modified.

Again, like normal items, these Modified draft items must be Recalculated to provide recommended stocking levels based on the submitted changes.

Saving Recalculated draft items returns them to an Unmodified state, but with the latest changes.

Draft Item records may be modified, recalculated and saved in both the Draft Item Grid View and Draft Item Form View.
