Field Properties
The field Properties information tooltip lets you view the properties of any field, providing further information on that field, including titles, descriptions, characteristics, and any auto-tasks that can affect their value. You can view more information on editable fields using both the Form view and Grid views.
Viewing field properties in the Form View and Grid View
To view the Field properties under the Grid View, select the property you want to view more information on and Right-click on it, to show a Properties information menu.
To view the Field Properties under the Form View right click any field to bring up the properties menu.
The Properties information menu opens a new dialog showing more detailed information on the field. This contains information such as:
- Field title
- Description
- ERP Field name
- Read only
- Column Protect
- Audited
- Field Type
- Field Length
- Field Length Used
- Decimal Places Displayed
- Decimal Places
- Maximum Value
- Minimum Value
- Default
- List Details
The AutoTask details can be viewed on the second tab that show autotasks related to the field:
- A list of all autotasks of type, 'P', 'S' and 'T' that affect the current field are listed.
- The detail for each Autotask displayed is Autotask Phase, Autotask Type, Task description, and when run (such as: EOM, Delta, Recalc, Draft.
