Deleting draft items
A user is able to delete those draft items that they created but no longer require.
Draft items may only be deleted in the Draft Items module.
The Delete function is available on the main control panel of both the Draft Item Grid View and Draft Item Form View, and may be utilized in either interface.
Deleting items in Draft Item Grid View
- Select the records to be deleted by choosing one of the following methods:
- If the user needs to delete all of their draft records then no records should be selected and no filters should be applied.
- If the user wishes to select one or several draft records, then they may select the records to
be deleted by tagging them. Note: Clicking the checkbox in the column header will select ONLY those records that are on the current page. ▪ If the user wishes to delete a particular selection of draft records then they may apply a filter to specify those records that they want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- This displays the Delete confirmation window.
- The confirmation window will also indicate how many draft item records will be deleted. 3. Click Yes.
- The selected draft item records will no longer be listed in the Draft Items Grid View.
Deleting an Item in Draft Item Form View
- Click Delete. A confirmation window will be presented.
- Click Yes.
- The current record will be deleted and removed from the Draft Item Grid View list.
- The Form View will cycle to the next item record.
