Changing the sort order in column

Set the sorting order of the inventory items within a column to ascending or descending.

About this task

Each entry in the ITEMS grid view list has a suffix that indicates the sort order of data within that field. you can sort the data in ascending or descending order. The data is in descending order by default.

To change the direction of sorting within a field complete the procedure.

1. Click the icon on the column to see the sort options.
2. Set the sort direction by Sort Ascending or Sort Descending from the sort option.
   1. Click the icon and select Save Grid Layout to New View to save the view and filter for further use.
3. Click Remove Sort option to remove sort order.
