Sending workflow summary emails

You can send automated emails to users to provide a summary of the workflow status and updates in IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization. Users can stay informed and up-to-date on the progress of their workflow, without having to manually track or monitor the system.

Procedure

  1. In the Administration application, under Workflow settings (Workflow settings icon), select Workflow configuration.
  2. On the Workflow configuration page, under Send workflow summary progress report to Workflow Originators, select when emails are sent.
    • Daily sends an email to users at the end of each day. This option is set by default.
    • Weekly sends an email to users every Sunday.
    • Never does not send an email to users.
    Note: These emails summarize workflow item completions. They list all denied, canceled, and completed workflows since the last email, based on the configured summary frequency.
  3. Click Save.
