Status of operator tasks
The status of an operator task indicates its position in the processing cycle and the actions that can be done on the record.
| Status | About this status |

| WAPPR | The operator task is waiting for approval. This status is the default status for operator
tasks that are created in the Activities and Tasks, Changes, Releases, and Work Order Tracking
applications. You can delete an operator task that has this status, if it meets the following
conditions:

| APPR | The operator task is approved and work can begin. Work plan items for an operator task are reserved in inventory, and cost and rate data are recorded. If rates are changed in the Inventory, Labor, or Tools application, the work plan reflects the rates when the operator task was approved. |
| CAN | The operator task is canceled. You can use this status when you want to delete the record and deletion is not allowed. After you cancel the operator task, it becomes a history record and you can change it only by selecting Edit History Activity from the More Actions menu. |
| CLOSE | The operator task is finalized. After the record is closed, you cannot change the status. After you close the operator task, it becomes a history record and you can change it only by selecting Edit History Activity from the More Actions menu. |
| COMP | All work on the operator task is complete. If you planned to move or change an asset on the operator task, the move or change occurs when the status is changed to COMP. |
| INPRG | Work on the operator task is in progress. This status is the default status for operator tasks that are created in the Quick Reporting application. |
| WMATL | Work on the operator task is temporarily stopped until essential materials are available. |
| WPCOND | Work is temporarily stopped until plant conditions are correct. |
| WSCH | The operator task is waiting to be scheduled. This status is the default status for operator tasks that are created in the Preventive Maintenance application. |
