MOC Requests application

You use the MOC Requests application to initiate Management of Change (MOC) requests.

After an MOC request is approved, you can initiate the full management of change process by creating an MOC record in the MOC application. Alternatively, the MOC request can be used to initiate a management of change process by an external management of change system.

You can associate multiple assets, locations, configuration items, and items with an MOC request.

If the MOC request requires follow-up tickets or work orders, you can generate the following types of records from this application:
  • Action
  • Communication
  • Improvement
  • Incident
  • Investigation
  • Management of change
  • Management of change request
  • Release
  • Risk Assessment
  • Service request
  • Work order
