Configuring the integration infrastructure for initial file loads
Maximo® Health, Safety and Environment records are initially loaded to the external system through XML file transfers. Before you can load these files to the external system, you must do several activities.
Before you begin
- Log on as a user in the MAXADMIN group.
- Ensure that no users are logged on to Maximo Health, Safety and Environment.
Do not enable any components specific to Maximo Health, Safety and Environment in the Integration module until you obtain MIMOSA enterprise identifiers and associate them with Maximo Health, Safety and Environment organizations.
Important: The names of the integration components that are specific to Maximo Health, Safety and Environment such as object structures and
external systems, begin with the prefix PLUSG. If you created any integration components that begin
with PLUSG, the integration can fail.
Procedure
- Obtain a MIMOSA enterprise identifier (enterprise_id) for every active and nonactive organization in Maximo Health, Safety and Environment.
- Associate the MIMOSA enterprise identifiers with the Maximo Health, Safety and Environment organizations.
- Update the system properties.
- Configure the Java™ Messaging Service (JMS) queues.
- Enable the publish channels for the initial file loads.
- Enable the external system for the initial file loads.
- Activate the integration cron task.
- Load organization, site, location, asset, location meter, and asset meter records to the external system.
- Disable the external system for the initial file loads.
