Associating improvement plans with improvement records

An improvement plan is a type of job plan. You associate an improvement plan with an improvement record to copy information about estimated child improvements, improvement tasks, costs, and benefits to the improvement record.

About this task

After you associate an improvement plan with an improvement record, you can change the information that was copied to the improvement record. The values in the original improvement plan are not affected.

Procedure

  1. In the Improvements application, select the improvement record that you want to update.
  2. On the Improvement tab, in the Job Plan field, select Detail Menu > Go To > Job Plans.
  3. Optional: To find the available improvement plans, use the advanced search feature and enter Y in the Improvement Plan field.
  4. Select an improvement record, and then click Return With Value.
    Information from the improvement plan is copied to the Plans tab in the Improvements application.
  5. Update fields on the Plans tab as needed.
  6. Save the record.
