Loading data

If Maximo Health is not deployed as part of Maximo Manage, you load data into the application or industry solution by integrating with another Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system or, if you have Health and Predict - Utilities, by using IBM® App Connect Enterprise.

Data, such as asset and work order data, does not exist in Maximo Health, Maximo Predict, or Health and Predict - Utilities until the integration or data load is completed. You can integrate with a Maximo system that is 8.3 or later or with another type of EAM system.

You complete the integration only once for Maximo Health, Maximo Predict, or Health and Predict - Utilities. For example, if Maximo Health and Maximo Predict are deployed and activated, integrate the other EAM system with Maximo Predict. The integration is automatically shared with Maximo Health.

If you are loading data by using IBM App Connect Enterprise, you can periodically load new data into the industry solution.

If you have Health and Predict - Utilities, determine whether you are going to complete the EAM system integration or use IBM App Connect Enterprise.
