Setting the API key for the EXTENGINEAPI endpoint

As part of configuring Maximo® Health, you must set the API key for the EXTENGINEAPI endpoint.

Procedure

  1. In Maximo Health, from the side navigation menu, select Application administration.
    The Maximo Manage application opens in a new tab.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Integration > API Keys.
  3. Add an API key.
    1. Click Add API Key.
    2. In the User field, click the Lookup icon to select the user ID for the administrative user.
    3. Ensure that the value in the Token expiry in minutes field is -1.
    4. Click Create.
  4. On the API key card for the administrative user, click Copy key.
  5. From the side navigation menu, select Integration > End Points.
  6. Search for and open the EXTENGINEAPI endpoint.
  7. In the Properties for End Point section, expand the PASSWORD property.
  8. In the Encrypted Value field, paste the administrative user's API key.
