You use the Condition Reports (Nuc) application to report, manage, and rectify conditions that do not meet required standards at a nuclear power plant. The application promotes nuclear safety and operational excellence through systematic reporting and centralized management of condition report data.

Reported conditions vary by type and in scope. They can indicate issues relating to the physical condition or performance of assets and locations, or to procedures and processes.

You use the Condition Reports (Nuc) application to perform the following tasks:

  • Create or modify the condition report.
  • Specify related records including tickets, work orders, and preventive maintenance (PM) records.
  • Add corrective action control to work orders and PM records.
  • Review the condition report and determine whether it becomes a corrective action.
  • Specify the results of screening reviews for the condition report. Add or modify information about the operations shift review.
  • Add or modify information about the solution for the reported condition. Relate an existing solution record to the condition report.
  • Identify recurrences and establish condition reporting and corrective action trends.
  • Classify the condition report and specify attributes.
  • Add information about operating experience that is relevant to the condition report. Specify related condition reports.
  • Add or modify work log entries. View the communication log.
  • Specify failure classes and codes for the condition report.

The Condition Reports (Nuc) application is integrated with the Create Condition Report (Nuc) and Solutions (Nuc) applications.

The Create Condition Report (Nuc) application is an application in the Self Service module that you can use to create condition reports. After the condition report is created, all further processing takes place in the Condition Reports (Nuc) application.

The Solutions (Nuc) application is an application in the Condition Reports (Nuc) module that you can use to create solutions for specific issues. In the Condition Reports (Nuc) application, you can associate a solution from the solution catalog with a condition report. This association makes the solution details available within the condition report. Alternatively, in cases where no appropriate solution exists, you can create a solution record from the condition report by using the solution details that it contains.
