Transferring current items

You can transfer items to another storeroom or bin in the same organization. You can also transfer items from one site to another site located outside of an organization.

1. From the List tab of the Inventory (Nuc) application, select the item that you want to transfer.
2. From the More Actions menu, select Transfer Current Item.
3. Specify a site and a storeroom.
4. Specify the quantity of items that you want to transfer.
5. If the item is not lotted, the From Storeroom and From Bin fields are filled with the location and default bin (if any) of the current record. For lotted items, the From Lot field is a required field. If the item is lotted, the From Bin field and the From Lot field default to the bin and lot with the earliest expiration date.
6. In the Conversion Factor field, specify the conversion ratio for this transaction.
   For example, if you transfer from storeroom, which is measured in boxes and received from storeroom, which is measured in number of items in the boxes, then your conversion ratio is boxes to item ratio. If one box contains 12 items, then conversion value is 12. You can change the default conversion ratio.
7. If the item is condition-enabled, specify the condition code of the item in the originating storeroom and the condition of the item that is being transferred.
8. Specify a GL debit account and a GL credit account.
9. Click OK to save the changes.
