Preparing Microsoft Excel workbooks using Maximo Data Loader

Maximo® Civil Infrastructure provides sample Microsoft Excel workbook templates that you can use as a reference to structure your data into a suitable format for importing with the Maximo Data Loader.

When you install Maximo Civil Infrastructure, the sample workbook files are installed in the /maxloader/data/files/Templates/ directory.

You can also create worksheets by exporting query templates from another Maximo Civil Infrastructure or Maximo Asset Management system. The export operation creates a template that you can use with Maximo Data Loader to query a server and populate a worksheet with the data that is returned by the query.
