Setting credentials for Autodesk Forge Viewer

The Autodesk Forge Viewer is a cloud-based WebGL application. As an administrator, you create an account with Autodesk and obtain credentials for the Autodesk Forge Viewer to display BIM models in the Forge Viewer in Maximo® Civil Infrastructure.

Before you begin

In a browser window, open https://developer.autodesk.com/. Create an Autodesk Forge Viewer account and sign in. Create an app and copy the Client ID and Client Secret that are provided for the app.

About this task

The following table shows the configuration values for the system properties.

Table 1. System properties for the Autodesk Forge Viewer

Property name	Global value
bim.viewer.LMV.key	The Client ID value that was provided by Autodesk Forge Viewer for the app that you created.
bim.viewer.LMV.secret	The Client Secret value that was provided by Autodesk Forge Viewer for the app that you created.
bim.viewer.LMV.model.maxuploadsize	The maximum size in megabytes of a model file that can be uploaded to Maximo Civil Infrastructure.
bim.viewer.LMV.theme	The default theme for the viewer. Themes are displayed in a selection list in the Viewer settings and are numbered sequentially starting with 0.

1. In the System Properties application, in the Global Properties section, configure the credentials for the Autodesk Forge Viewer.
   1. Filter for the property name.
   2. Expand the property.
   3. In the Global Value field, specify the relevant credential information.
   4. From the Common Actions menu, select Save Property.
2. In the Global Properties section, select the checkboxes for the properties that you set.
3. From the Common Actions menu, click Live Refresh.

   The values that you applied to the properties take effect immediately.
