Turbine timeline
The turbine timeline widget provides a visual representation of the operating status of turbines: error, running, and communication failure, across each hour of every day within a selected date range. This timeline helps you quickly identify when alarms occurred and how long turbines remained in error or communication failure states. By offering an hour-by-hour breakdown, the widget enables detailed operational analysis and supports better decision-making for maintenance and performance optimization.
Widget layout and interactions
The timeline is structured with one row per date and one cell per hour, based on the data granularity received from the device. Each cell is color-coded to indicate the turbine status: red for Error, green for running, and gray for communication failure. If multiple statuses occur within the same hour, the system applies a priority rule or splits the hour visually, can ensure consistency across the widget. A legend is displayed at the top or bottom for quick reference. You can hover over any cell to view a tooltip containing the date, time range, and status. For error hours, the tooltip may also include alarm codes and descriptions. The widget supports horizontal scrolling to display all 24 hours clearly, and vertical scrolling is available when the selected date range exceeds 15 days.
Date range selection and controls
A date range picker is positioned at the upper-right of the widget, allowing you to select a single day, week, month, or a custom range of up to 30 days. The default selection is the last 30 days from the current date. When the selected range exceeds 15 days, the widget initially displays the most recent 15 days, with scrolling available to access earlier dates. Navigation arrows beside the date range enable quick movement between ranges. More controls include a full-screen icon to expand the widget for better visualization and a menu icon for exporting data. You can export the underlying status data for the selected date range as a CSV file or download the visible timeline as PNG or JPEG. The information icon provides a description of the widget when hovered over. All status and alarm data is sourced from AMS and updated every hour, ensuring that the timeline reflects the latest available information.
