Text
The text widget displays custom text content on dashboards with optional hyperlinks and styling options.
Overview
Use the text widget to add informational text, notes, or instructions to your custom dashboards. You can include hyperlinks to external resources such as documentation, reports, or other tools, providing quick access directly from the monitoring dashboard.
Configuration options
The text widget provides the following configuration options:
- Title
- Enter the text content to display in the widget. The title field supports up to 100 characters.
- Add Link
- Select this checkbox to enable hyperlink functions. When enabled, a URL field appears where you can enter the web address. Clicking the text in the widget opens the specified URL in a new browser tab or window.
- Text Styling
- Customize the visual appearance of the widget by configuring the following color
options:
- Background Color
- Set the background color that uses a color picker or by entering a hexadecimal color code (for example, #FFFFFF for White).
- Text Color
- Set the text color that uses a color picker or by entering a hexadecimal color code (for example, #000000 for black).
- Border Color
- Set the border color that uses a color picker or by entering a hexadecimal color code (for example, #DDDDDD for light gray).
After configuring the options, you can click Apply and the text widget is configured and a preview is displayed.
