Creating custom reports

Use the Report Designer to create custom reports with parameters, time frames, and data functions.

Before you begin

Ensure that you are logged in to the IBM® Maximo® Renewables and confirm that you have access to the Report Designer section under Reporting

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, click Reporting > Report Designer
  2. Click the Add(+) icon to fetch parameters from the database.
  3. Select the project for which you want to create the report.
  4. Choose the module of IBM Maximo Renewables from which to retrieve data.
  5. Complete the device data filter parameters required for the report. The below example is for the Monitoring module.
    1. Select the Report Duration for the report (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly)
    2. Choose the Interval (for example, one, five, ten)
    3. Select the Category for the device and then the specific Device.
    4. Choose one or more Parameters to include in the report.
    5. Select the total function to apply to each parameter (for example, average, sum).
    6. Optional: Modify the data function for each parameter.
  6. Select the reference date for the report.
  7. Repeat the data filtering process for other modules when needed.
  8. To confirm and retrieve the filtered parameters, click the Apply icon.
  9. Note: Do not modify the Raw data sheet, as it is linked to the database and updates automatically
    Rename the Sheet Name if required.
  10. To edit the parameters or the sheet, select the Edit icon.
  11. Choose the options from the drop-downs for manage templates,select template parameter, project,module and report settings.
  12. Click Apply.
