Analyzing performance trends

Use the trends analysis capability to visualize asset-related parameters of selected assets over a specified time range. Analyzing performance trends helps improve data insights, supports troubleshooting, and facilitates informed decision-making. You can select the time period, adjust data granularity, and interact with the plot to analyze equipment performance.

1. In IBM® Maximo® Renewables, from the side navigation menu, click Analytics > Trends.
2. To filter the project list based on wind, solar, or energy storage assets, click the asset icon.
3. From project list, select the project.
4. In the Assets section, select assets.
5. In the Parameters section, select the parameters that you want to analyze, then click Load chart to plot the selected parameters.
6. Select the period over which the data is visualized.
7. Select the granularity of the data to visualize.
   Note: The available granularity options depend on the selected time period.
8. From the Data function list, select the aggregation function to apply to the data.
9. To show or hide legends, click View legends icon.
10. To download or view data for deeper analysis, click the menu icon.
11. To preserve the configured trend view as a template, click Save.
    To load saved templates, in the Assets section, you can click Use template.
