Adding assets

Add assets to monitor, analyze, and manage performance.

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, click CMMS Master > Asset Master.
  2. To add an asset, click Add.
  3. From the Project list, select the project to link the asset.
  4. In the Name field, enter the asset name for identification in searches and reports.
  5. In the Reference Code field, enter the reference code.
  6. From the Sub Classification list, select the appropriate classification.
  7. Enter the Make, Model, and Device Node Id of the asset.
  8. If project is linked to Maximo® Manage, enter the Maximo Manage Asset information same as in Manage.
  9. Enter details of AC Capacity (kW), DC Capacity, Number of Modules, Number of Tables, Isolation, and Serial Number as applicable to the asset.
  10. Select the Calibrated checkbox, and enter Calibration Date for the asset.
  11. Select the Tested checkbox, and enter Testing Date for the asset.
  12. Select the Shelf Life checkbox for the asset.
  13. Enter Manufacturing Date and Date of Expiry as applicable for the asset.
  14. From the Parallel Count list, select the appropriate integer.
  15. Enter the Table Id and String Position details for the asset.
  16. Click Save to store the asset details.
  17. You can add asset details in bulk with file upload feature.
    1. Click Filter.
    2. In the Search section, select the appropriate Project.
    3. Click Search to get a list of assets in the project.
    4. Click Download, for a spreadsheet file (.xlsx) with list of current assets in the project.
    5. Update the downloaded spreadsheet with asset details.
    6. Click Upload.
    7. In the File Upload dialog, open the updated spreadsheet.
    8. In the Import Assets dialog, click Save and the list of assets is imported.
