Access recent events and gateways in the IoT tool

The Connect page is removed. You can access recent events for devices, create and add devices to gateways, and access older device type data from the IoT tool. In Maximo Monitor, on the Setup page, you can create non-gateway device types and add devices to those types.

Use the IoT tool API key for Maximo Monitor APIs

You can now can run the Maximo Monitor APIs by using the IoT tool API keys or the Maximo Monitor API key. By using the IoT tool API keys, you can create multiple API keys, such as one per user. For more information, see APIs.

Configure access control by using new APIs

You can now configure user access to resources, such as organizations, sites, and assets, by using new access control APIs. Configuring access control by using the APIs is more streamlined than access control options on older versions of Maximo Monitor. These APIs also enable access control to be configured in bulk. You configure access by creating and uploading .csv files that add or delete users or resources from security groups.

Create custom functions for streaming data metrics

You can use streaming data metrics with custom functions for ONNX models. You build and deploy custom functions in ONNX models by using the Jupyter notebooks. For more information, see Configuring custom functions for streaming data metrics.
