Work Order Tracking
Use the Work Order Tracking application to create and manage work orders for your assets and locations. Each work order describes a task and lists what you need to complete it, including labor, materials, services, and tools.
Accessing Work Order Tracking
To open the Work Order Tracking application:
- From the navigation menu, click . The Work Order Tracking application displays a list of work orders.
Overview
When you create a work order, you start the maintenance process. The work order also creates a record of the work that was requested and completed.
You can create work orders in other applications besides Work Order Tracking. These applications include Changes, Condition Monitoring, Incidents, Preventive Maintenance, Problems, Quick Reporting, Releases, and Service Requests.
Searching for work orders
Use the search toolbar to find specific work orders:
- Enter a work order number in the search field and press Enter.
- Click the Advanced Search icon to filter by status, priority, site, or other criteria.
- To sort results by date (newest first), click the column header for Target Start or Status Date.
- Use the Filter option to show only work orders for a specific site or status.
