Defining check loops
You can create check loops to break down the requirements of an aircraft check into a sequence of related checks. In an OMP, you can enable check loops to maintain a sequence and manage the frequency of maintenance tasks for the aircraft to meet regulatory maintenance requirements.

Procedure
- In the Master Task Card application, create a master task card and specify that the record is a check.
- In the OMP application, create or review an OMP that is in a draft or pending status.
- Associate the master task card records that are checks with the OMP record.
- On the Checks tab, define the higher and lower checks.
- On the Check Loops tab, specify the name and description of the check loop.
- Specify the first check and the next checks in the check loop sequence.
- Specify whether the check loop is an adjustment to update associated records with revisions.
- Specify flight cycles, flight hours, and the calendar interval and units at which the next check in the sequence occurs.
- Specify the meter type of the aging interval that occurs between the checks.
- Save the OMP record.
