Creating dialog boxes for map tip menu items

You can create and customize the appearance of a dialog box and use it as a menu item on the map tips window.

About this task

When you create a dialog box for map tips, the dialog box must be defined in the system library XML file.

You can use the Service Address Details dialog box as a template. The dialog identifier of the Service Address Details dialog box is maptips_sa_dialog.

Procedure

  1. In the Application Designer application, create the dialog box.
  2. In the Map Manager application, select the MapTips tab and specify the object.
  3. Specify the menu item details of the new dialog box.
  4. Save the record.
