Viewing survey results

About this task

The Survey Results tab is used to view basic Survey results, including:

  • How many users received the survey both Tracked and Untracked Survey
  • How many users responded the survey both Tracked and Untracked Survey
  • Basic survey results - a percentage of answers responded to for each questions, with:
    • Percentage of each answers for number of responses
    • Highlighting which answers are preferred
      Note: Only radio button and check box question answers and their counts (percentages) are highlighted. For the FreeForm type questions, there are no answers, counts, or percent (percentage) of answers selected for each answer displayed, only simple text appears under the question.

The Survey Results tab is displayed for each individual survey and the tab is only displayed when users have responded to that survey. For example, if you open a survey 1003, you do not see theSurvey Results tab unless this survey is sent to one or more users and at least one user has responded by submitting answers to the survey.

To view survey results, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Open the Surveys application (Open Menu > Administration > Survey Management > Surveys).
  2. Click the Survey Results tab.

    The first section displays the Survey Name, Survey Status, Launched, and Closed date. The next section displays information about how many users received the Survey in email (Tracked, Untracked), viewed the Survey, and actually filled in and submitted the Survey.

    The final section displays each question with all of the answers, the count of how many users chose the respective answers, and the percent (percentage) of answers selected for each answer.
