Duplicating a script

You can duplicate an existing script from the Details tab in the Automation Scripts application.

About this task

You might want to duplicate a script if you need a new one that behaves slightly differently than the current script. For example, a duplicated script might need to validate a field against a different enterprise attribute, such as domains.

1. Go to System Configuration > Platform Configuration > Automation Scripts.
2. Place the cursor in the Script field, type the name of the script you wish to duplicate, and press Enter.
3. Click the Duplicate Script action.
4. If you wish to use a name other than the system-assigned number, type the name of the new script in the Script field.
5. Optionally, change the information in any of the other fields.
6. Click Save.
