Viewing process details

At any time during a release, you can open the Process Details tab to view a detailed rollup of the approval tasks, milestones, implementation tasks, and software distribution tasks that have been scheduled for the release. The Process Details view displays all of these important tasks at a glance, regardless of how deeply nested the tasks might be in a work plan.

About this task

By viewing approval tasks, you can track all of the approvals that have occurred or been scheduled for a release. Milestones include all of the automated Change Progress tasks that have been created as the last tasks in release activities. Implementation tasks include all tasks that affect configuration items (CIs).

To view these process details, open the Process Details tab with the release that you want to inspect open. The Process Details view contains sections that list all of the approval tasks, milestones, implementation tasks, and software distribution tasks (a specialized form of implementation tasks) for the release. For each task, the description, classification, scheduled start and finish times, and current status are displayed.
