Changing the status of multiple persons

To manage the status of the people working in your organization, you can change the status of multiple persons to either active or inactive.

Before you begin

A person must have an active status to be assigned to a labor record or a user record. Inactive persons do not appear in select value lists, and cannot be assigned to new labor records or new user records.

Procedure

  1. On the List tab in the People application, select the Select Records check box.
  2. Select the check boxes for the person records that you are changing.
  3. Select the Change Status action.
  4. Specify a new status.
  5. Optional: In the Memo field, type a reason for the status change.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Close.
