Deletion of packages

If a package is no longer required or contains errors, you can delete it if it meets certain conditions.

You can delete a package if any of the following conditions is true:

• In the source environment, the status of the package is CREATED, but you have not distributed the package to any target environment.
• In the source environment, the status of the package is CREATE_ERROR.
• In the target environment, the status of the package is DEPLOY_ERROR.

If the package type is FILE and you want to archive the file to refer to later, close the package instead of deleting it.
