Labor inventory locations
A labor inventory location maintains a balance of inventory items that were issued from a storeroom.
To issue inventory items or tools to a laborer, you use the Create Labor Inventory Location action to create a labor inventory location for that laborer. You use the Issues and Transfers application to issue or transfer inventory items and tools to locations.
For example, a mobile maintenance worker maintains an inventory of
spare parts and tools in a vehicle. The worker would be responsible for the
parts and tools until they are used on a work order or are returned to a storeroom.
