Responding to a Remove Change request

When requests to remove Changes from a Release are submitted, the requests are available for acceptance or rejection from within the Releases application. When you accept a Remove Change request, the configuration items (CIs) associated with the change are no longer associated with the release; when you reject a request, the CIs retain their association with the release.

About this task

A Change Owner is the user who generates a Remove Change request. A Release Owner responds to the request.

Perform the following steps to respond to a Remove Change request:

1. With the release open, select Manage Requests for Release > Requests to Remove Change from Release from the Common Actions menu.
2. Use the Remove Change from Release Requests dialog box to accept or reject the request.
