Adding parents to locations

A location in a network system can belong to one or more parents. A location in a hierarchical system can have only one parent.

1. In the Locations application, on the Location tab, display the location record to which you want to add parent locations.
2. In the Systems table window, select the systems in which you want to add a parent for the current location.
3. Under the Parent table window, click New Row.
4. In the Parent field, type a value, or click Detail Menu and select an option.
5. Repeat steps 3 - 4 for each parent you want to add within the selected systems.
6. Click Save Location.
